Loretta Lynn AMA Southwest Area Qualifier

Come on out and join us for your chance to qualify for the 2018 Loretta Lynn Amateur National Championship!!! Moriarty MX is proud to be the only track in New Mexico to hold the prestigious AMA Loretta Lynn’s Southwest Area Qualifier!!!

Where do some of the best riders in the world come from? If you’re not familiar with our track, you should know some of the very best started off right here at Moriarty MX. We take pride in being the home track for the current Supercross 450 Pro points leader, “El Hombre” himself, Jason Anderson, Ivan “Hotsauce” Tedesco, Gio Tedesco, Justin Buckelew, Keith Johnson, Kevin Johnson, Ryan Clark, and current 450 Pro Supercross rider, Casey Brennan. We are also proud to be the home track for up and coming pro riders, Johnny Garcia and Kameron Barboa.

What else do you need to know?

CASH AND CREDIT CARDS ACCEPTED FOR ALL FEE PAYMENTS. CHECKS ARE WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.

Practice: Friday, April 13th from 10am-3pm
$25 per rider
Gate fee for riders and spectators: $10 per carload.

Race Days: Saturday, April 14th and Sunday, April 15th.
Sign up by 8am...no exceptions!!
Classes $40 per class.
Gate fee is $10 per person, per day, 5 and under are free.

This is an AMA sanctioned event. Riders must have a current AMA membership or purchase an event pass for the weekend. Please bring your valid AMA card to sign up for your races, to avoid having to purchase a new membership or weekend pass. Memberships can also be purchased or renewed at www.americanmotorcyclist.com

***YOU DO NOT HAVE TO BE QUALIFYING FOR LORETTA LYNN’S TO PRACTICE OR RACE AT THIS EVENT. THIS EVENT IS OPEN TO ALL DIRTBIKE RIDERS BUT AMA INSURANCE IS REQUIRED FOR THIS EVENT ONLY***

This is a dirt bike only event. Quads will not be allowed for practice or race days. This event is not part of the Moriarty MX Race Series.

Riding is not allowed on any part of the compound other than the main moto track during race hours. After 5pm, it is a cold pit (ie: dirtbikes, quads, pit bikes, etc. are not allowed). Golf carts and side by sides are allowed on the roads around the track only. Unmarked security will enforce these rules and will remove anyone found in violation immediately.

Moriarty MX staff, including flaggers and EMT’s, are on site with your safety being their priority. All staff must be obeyed. This is a zero tolerance policy and anyone found in violation will be removed from the premises immediately.

Awards will be given to winners 1st-3rd Place.

100% payback for pro classes. (250A and Open Pro Sport)

Concessions will be available throughout each day of this event by the Twisted Throttle Cafe.

We look forward to an awesome, competitive weekend of racing!!! This race is open to all dirt bike racers!!! Come on out and test your skills against some of the best competitors in the world!!!

AMA IS NOT NEEDED TO RACE AT MORIARTY MX, WITH THE EXCEPTION OF THE LORETTA LYNN QUALIFIER, TAKING PLACE APRIL 13-15, WHICH IS NOT A ROUND IN THE MORIARTY MX SERIES. QUADS WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO RIDE AT THE QUALIFIER EVENT.
